Community Guidelines – BiFiles Chat

Effective Date: 15 February 2025

Welcome to BiFiles Chat. These Community Guidelines help keep our platform a safe, respectful, and supportive space — especially for bisexual people and allies who may not always feel welcome elsewhere.

By participating in BiFiles Chat, you agree to follow these guidelines.

💜 Our Community Values

BiFiles Chat is built on:

  • Respect for different identities, experiences, and boundaries
  • Consent in communication and interaction
  • Kindness, empathy, and support
  • Open conversation without fear of harassment or judgment

You don’t need to agree with everyone — but you do need to treat everyone with respect.

✅ What’s Encouraged

We encourage members to:

  • Be respectful, patient, and supportive
  • Share experiences honestly and responsibly
  • Ask questions in good faith
  • Respect personal boundaries and comfort levels
  • Help create a welcoming atmosphere for newcomers

Listening is just as valuable as speaking.

🚫 What’s Not Allowed

To protect the community, the following behavior is not permitted:

  • Harassment, bullying, hate speech, or discrimination
  • Sexual pressure, unsolicited explicit content, or fetishizing others
  • Sharing conversations, screenshots, or recordings without consent
  • Impersonation or misleading behavior
  • Repeatedly disrupting conversations or ignoring moderator guidance

These rules apply to text, images, audio, and video.

🔞 Adult & Sensitive Topics

Some chatrooms may include adult or sensitive topics.

  • Always respect consent and clearly stated boundaries
  • Keep explicit content in appropriate rooms only
  • Stop immediately if someone expresses discomfort

No one owes you attention, conversation, or access.

🛡️ Safety First

If something makes you uncomfortable:

  • Trust your instincts
  • Step away from the conversation
  • Use reporting tools or contact moderators

Your safety matters more than keeping the peace.

🧑‍⚖️ Moderation & Enforcement

BiFiles Chat is actively moderated to protect the community.

Moderators may:

  • Offer guidance or reminders
  • Remove content that violates these guidelines
  • Temporarily restrict accounts
  • Permanently remove users in serious or repeated cases

Moderation decisions are made to protect the community, not to punish.

🤝 Disagreements & Conflict

Disagreements are normal — harassment is not.

If a discussion becomes heated:

  • Slow down
  • Respect different perspectives
  • Avoid personal attacks
  • Follow moderator guidance

Not every discussion needs to be “won”.

🌱 A Shared Responsibility

BiFiles Chat works best when everyone helps maintain a safe and supportive environment.

If you see behavior that doesn’t align with these guidelines, reporting it helps protect others — including yourself.
