At BiFiles Chat, your safety and well-being come first. This page explains how we help keep the community safe and what you can do if something doesn’t feel right.
You deserve to feel comfortable, respected, and supported while using BiFiles Chat.
💜 Our Commitment to Safety
BiFiles Chat is designed as a supportive and inclusive space for bisexual people and allies. Safety is a shared responsibility between the platform, moderators, and community members.
We actively work to:
- Encourage respectful, consent-based interaction
- Moderate harmful or disruptive behavior
- Respond to reports seriously and confidentially
- Create a space where people feel safe to speak up
🚩 When to Report
Please report behavior that makes you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, including:
- Harassment, bullying, or hate speech
- Sexual pressure or unwanted explicit messages
- Boundary violations or repeated unwanted contact
- Sharing images, audio, or video without consent
- Impersonation or misleading behavior
- Any conduct that violates our Community Guidelines
You do not need proof of bad intentions to report something. If it feels wrong to you, that matters.
🛠️ How to Report
If you experience or witness inappropriate behavior, you can:
- Use the in-chat reporting tools, if available
- Contact a moderator directly
- Email us at support@bifiles.com
Please include, where possible:
- The username(s) involved
- The chatroom where it happened
- A brief description of what occurred
Screenshots are helpful, but not required.
🔒 What Happens After a Report
All reports are handled with care and discretion.
After a report is received:
- A moderator will review the situation
- Action may include guidance, content removal, restrictions, or account action
- Serious or repeated violations may lead to permanent removal
We do not tolerate retaliation against users who report concerns.
🎧 Audio & Video Safety
Some chatrooms support audio and/or video communication.
For your safety:
- Never feel pressured to turn on audio or video
- Leave the room immediately if you feel uncomfortable
- Recording or sharing conversations without consent is prohibited
- Report inappropriate audio/video behavior immediately
Your comfort always comes first.
🧘 Take Care of Yourself
If a conversation becomes overwhelming:
- Step away when needed
- Mute or block users, if available
- Reach out for support outside the platform if necessary
Your mental and emotional well-being matters more than any conversation.
🤝 Supportive Moderation
Moderators are here to help maintain a safe environment — not to judge or shame.
They aim to:
- De-escalate situations
- Protect vulnerable users
- Enforce rules fairly and consistently
- Act in the best interest of the community
